High standards
Our dogs are screened for genetic issues as juveniles, long before they are used for breeding. This includes Juvenile Hereditary Cataracts, cardio (heart issues) and luxating patellas (knee condition).
CERF (vision tests) BAER (hearing impairment) are difficult to acquire, as there are very few vets in AZ who offer them. We do these tests whenever possible.
This ensures we produce the healthiest babies possible, allowing them to have a great quality of life.
Health is our top priority!
Our goal is to preserve the quality of the breed by adhering to the official standard as written by the AKC. We only breed AKC papered adults with standard colors, conformation, etc. We choose dogs that fit the standard as closely as we can. This will increase the odds of beautiful puppies with great markings, exceptional personalities, fantastic temperaments, excellent health, and potentially extended lifespans.
Temperament is important!
We spend a lot of time and energy on proper training, discipline, and socialization to ensure our dogs are friendly, well rounded, and obedient. Puppies learn so much from their parents! It is vital to start them of with a strong foundation, to minimize behavioral issues as they grow up. We also shower them with love and affection. They are all spoiled ROTTEN!
Coleman’s Hot as Hades “Ember” came to us from Las Vegas in 2018. Ember is a 24 lb. black, brindle and white purebred Boston Terrier with Champion AKC lineage. She has striking eyes and a beautiful profile. Ember has tested clear for JHC, BAER, patella and cardio. She is outgoing, friendly, smart and spunky. We are so lucky to have her!
"Ellie Faye, Kiss My Southern Sass" is a stunning, heavy brindle color, ' with outstanding markings. She weighs 20 lb. and is lean & tall with perky ears, bright eyes, and a darling face. Ellie is friendlyy and active, but also a bit docile/timid at times. She came to us from Alabama in 2020, and gave us something to smile about! We adore her, and are very happy to have her in our family. Elliette is JHC, cardio and patella clear, and will have additional health testing completed when veterinary offices begin performing the tests again, post-pandemic.
Juniper Star “Enlaced in Stardust” is the daughter of Ember and Maddox. She is the first puppy born here that we have ever kept for ourselves! Juniper has her mama’s quick wit and stocky build, and her daddy’s silly nature and floppy ears. She is black& white with a touch of brindle, and flashy markings. Her squishy face is to die for! She was born in 2021, smack in the middle of the pandemic, and was a ray of sunshine during this uncertain time. It has been such a joy watching her take her first breath, then grow into a headstrong, outgoing, young lady. She and her little sister, Tallulah are inseparable. We are so excited to see what the future holds for them both! Juniper is JHC and cardio clear and will complete additional health tests once she is old enough and vets begin to offer tests, post pandemic.
Tallulah Moon "Eclipsed in Moonbeams" is the daughter of Ellie Faye and Maddox. She has her mama’s beautiful brindle coat, lean build and perky ears, and her daddy's expressive face. Lulu is timid and irresistibly sweet! We just love her, and cant wait to watch her mature. She and Juniper are half sisters, and were born just three weeks apart. They are quite a pair! Tallulah is JHC, cardio and patella clear and will complete additional health tests once she is old enough and vets begin to offer tests, post-pandemic.
Zeppelin "Black Dog You Got Soul" is a tiny and compact black, brindle and white boy weighing in at 12 lb! He is AKC with champion lines, and fully health tested. He is an absolute delight; such a gentleman. We are honored to borrow him from our dear friend Debbie at "Debbie's Beautiful Boston Terriers" when we need stud services, beginning in 2023.
